The Black Bear

Of all holsters made and worn, the shoulder holster is the most personable piece of gun leather ever made. To fit and feel right the harness must be able to adjust to the owner's body shape and size. The holster must fit the firearm, not just in form, but also in balance. The off side cases and pouches must give the feel that they balance with the holstered firearm, which most times this is accomplished by “tie downs” that attach to the belt. Even after the holster is adjusted for fit and balance, the wearer usually has to get use to the feel of a shoulder holster, but once all these things are in concert, most people find their shoulder holsters to be their favorite holsters.

The Black Bear horizontal shoulder holster is specially designed to balance the weapon on both ends of the shoulder straps for a more stable carry. The harness is made of light weight leather and has seven adjustment positions on each strap for an almost infinite fit. The off side pouches are made to fit a variety of items and both sides come with belt loop tie downs, (not seen).

Because of the individual nature of each shoulder holster and the amount of time required to produce each holster, wait times are often eight weeks.

The Grizzly vertical shoulder holster is well suited for large framed revolvers and pistols but is also wildly used for many other types of handguns. The off side pouches are made to fit a variety of items and both sides come with belt loop tie downs. As with the Black Bear, this holster and its off side accessory cases are made to balance well. The Grizzly shoulder harness is made of heavier leather and carries the bulk of the weight on top of the shoulder giving the wearer a “backpack” type feel, which allows all day comfort with a heavy handgun. With this shoulder harness, the adjustments are of a slide through type that allows the wearer to adjust it to their individual frame.

As was stated above, because of the individual nature of each shoulder holster and the amount of time required to produce each holster, wait times are often eight weeks.
